While the website is brand new, the business isn't. Like most folks, I tend to gravitate toward my strengths and procrastinate on unfamiliar territory. Building a website is definitely unfamiliar territory.
In the world of landscaping, there are countless choices. It's the people that make the difference. My journey to starting a small business came after many years in the corporate service business world. There are pitfalls on both sides of the fence, but I sleep well at night now knowing I can deliver on each and every commitment made to my customers.
Make no mistake, like every other business, we're here to make a living. That said, we do so in the most fair and transparent way possible. We're not an industry giant so all we have is the quality of our work, the character of our staff and the reputation that follows.
Many of us prefer to support local small businesses. If you're like me, you like knowing that your money is staying local and as much of it as possible is going to support local families instead of a corporate machine. When you choose 21 & Seven or any other small business like us, your money stays local and directly supports local families.
In our case, it also contributes to a small organic farming operation and in turn a network of homesteaders determined to strengthen the small organic farming community as well as those who enjoy the fruits (and veggies and meats) of that labor.
